cfda chairman thom browne won the american menswear designer of the year award, presented to him by mark ronson and public school designers dao-yi chow and maxwell osborne at the 2025 cfda awards...

the award paid tribute to thom browne’s singular vision of tailoring, an approach that has been credited with influencing the shape of contemporary menswear. thom has previously received the american menswear designer of the year honor in 2006, 2013 and 2016, and has been nominated for the title from 2014 through 2025, as well as for american womenswear designer of the year in 2024.
