Cardigans are a longstanding staple of the Thom Browne uniform. From a relaxed fit to a classic fit, intricate intarsia patterns or one simple color, the men’s cardigans feature signature details like flashes of tricolor grosgrain trim and 2 front pockets.Â
Pullover sweaters are adorned with innovative motifs or the signature 4-Bar Thom Browne emblem inspired by varsity stripes. Each detail is precise, carefully placed. Additional signature touches include buttoned side vents and cuffs featuring striped grosgrain trim, and a striped grosgrain tab behind the neck.Â
Cashmere knits should be dry-cleaned only. Thom Browne cashmere is created with craftsmanship refined over two centuries in Scotland, using the naturally pure water of Loch Leven for consistent color and exceptionally soft, resilient cardigans, pullover sweaters, vests and hoodies.Â
Merino wool is easy to care for and can be washed in the normal wash cycle at 30-40°C (86-104°F). Please note that a wool detergent can harm the material. Do not tumble dry. Merino products should ideally be left flat to dry. The fabric can be washed together with rougher materials to prevent pilling. Thom Browne merino wool knitwear is crafted from 100% virgin wool for the finest texture.Â
Cotton knitwear can be dry-cleaned or machine-washed cold and left flat to dry. Tumble-drying can shrink the fabric. Thom Browne uses fine quality cotton for cardigans, pullovers and all of our men’s knitwear that stand the test of time.
