thom browne’s twentieth anniversary will be marked this fall in ways that are personal, specific, and considered. a global tour and series of events (including archival exhibitions and a 2003 capsule collection) commemorate the occasion, coinciding with the release of the monograph, thom browne., published by phaidon.
the tour debuted in london at the victoria & albert museum with a live discussion between thom and journalist charlie porter followed by a private dinner with members of the thom browne family in a gallery at the v&a. the festivities will continue to tokyo, seoul, shanghai, and milan, with localized events tailored for each location.
the twentieth anniversary celebrations will conclude with a special event in thom browne’s home city of new york, where the collection began and is based today.
