reflections on wandering, with xiao wen.
ambling along for hours on a straight dusty path, threading a line between trees bursting with green, lying down for a quiet afternoon rest. thom browne coat spread across leaves as soft as a pillow, the sun warm. waking up and reclining against the trunk of an elm, just a lazy, golden afternoon.
packing a single black alligator mrs. thom bag, and wearing a double-faced mackintosh spring collection coat with white astrakhan collar and cuffs, four-bar intarsia thom browne socks, and classic black pebble grain leather brogues.
setting out again under a waning sun, spot an old stone building tucked into a shady grove. pop in to see if anyone is inside. exploring the grounds where the air is thick and warm. shedding the mackintosh, now down to the blue thom browne collarless jacket with grosgrain lined side vents, oxford shirt with tie, and skirt with ruffled silk jacquard bloomers peaking out below the hem.
summiting a stone wall where once again the air is cool, playing the part of fearless mountaineer.
