Thom Browne.
By Andrew Bolton
Marking the 20th anniversary of the company’s founding, this is the first monograph on Thom Browne.
Celebrating one of the most influential fashion designers working today, Phaidon is pleased to announce a comprehensive volume on Thom Browne, exploring the originality and lasting impact of the award-winning designer’s work. Featuring specially commissioned photography by Johnny Dufort of looks from Browne’s past collections, the book also includes exclusive images of the brand’s runway presentations, which offer an inside look into his theatrical and thought-provoking shows. Andrew Bolton, Curator in Charge of The Costume Institute at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, chose the selection of garments featured and his introduction serves as an entrée into Browne’s world, examining the trajectory of the brand and its iconic design philosophy.
Enclosed in a clamshell box, the book includes more than 40 gatefolds and translucent vellum pages featuring the brand’s signature four bar.
